As long as we're on the subjt of pet peeves related to language, it's "duly" (think "duty" with an l - properly), not "dually" (relates to two objts - as in dual wield). =p
Fair enough about the potential forhanges, although this pah seems to be moving fairly fast. Tigole has said the PTR will be up in the first or sond week of tober and that it's been pretty extensively playtested, so... meh. We'll see, I suppose.
By the numbers, thehanges to Lightning Overload seem to yield an irease in DPS. More signifant, though, is that the Overload shots nowause zero threat. Both this and thehange to Spirit Weapons' threat mitigation give shaman more leeway in their DPS role. Thehanges to Water Shield are very weome. The problem with Water Shield in raids was always that you had to get hit for it to work, and that's kinda the opposite of the point. That mighthange if the spell is free andertainly will if it provides an automat return. Thehanges to the Enhaement tree are very weome. Someone realized that even for Enhaement shaman,
mh of our damageomes from shks. Thisould alsohange some builds. Rather than have Enhaement shaman d into Resto to get Spiritual Guidae, weould buff our shks still further by pking up low-end Elemental talents. Looks, overall, like quite a dent buff to Elemental and a signifant one to Enhaement. Now if only weould get them to do something about Shield Sp...
